Brookwood's unique setting provides a perfect environment for physical and mental growth.
The camp overlooks the majestic Lake Lochada, a natural four mile spring fed lake and is close to the Delaware River.
It is located near the town of Glen Spey, New York and it is approximately two hours from New York City.
This Film camp is for children 9 to 17 -- to have an incredible summer, filled with learning, laughter and friendships.

In our Film Camp .. YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A MOVIE
With a full professional film crew, Directed by a Hollywood Film Director. You will build sets, find locations and setups. You will learn from the best! ... Acting for TV & Film, Crewing & Special FX make up and more. You will have a choice to work in front or behind the camera or both. And if our movie is good enough we will enter it into Film Festivals. - For sure, U Tube and face-book. On our Academy Awards night, there will be awards for the best Actor/Actress best Supporting Actor/Actress best Crew and more. When you sign up for camp, I need you to write a three page synopsis of your short 15 min. Movie idea, if chosen you will receive $100.00 writers fee. If we are done in time we will show the Movie to your Parents during our end of Camp Show.
If we are not done in time you will receive it later on a DVD.

We need kids interested in Producing, Directing, writing, costumes, set design and more ...SO! come on Join Us.
YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO
You will be working with a professional Hip Hop Dance Choreographer fully experienced in the Art of Music Videos. You will be designing and creating outfits to wear in the shooting of your Music Video. You will be creating back drops and props. We will be shooting studio and locations. Please bring any hip hop music you would like to dance to. If we are done in time we will show the Movie to your Parents during our end of Camp Show.
If we are not done in time you will receive it later on a DVD.

YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A MUSICAL THEATER MOVIE
You will be working with a professional Dance Choreographer and a Professional Voice coach You the students, will decide what song and from what Musical you would like to perform. You will then be filmed creating a Film Musical, with costumes, make up and props. If we are done in time we will show the Movie to your Parents during our end of Camp Show. If we are not done in time you will receive it later on a DVD.
